No, not just poker. I'm rubbish at poker. If we'd stuck with poker they'd be my best friends still because they'd probably own most of my clothing by this point. It's the fact that I played and won some of their games that's the problem.
Apparently memorising and counting cards is a bad thing.
Well how can I not count cards? It wasn't some deliberate thing! It was just what I do when I see cards. It seems like a sensible strategy - why doesn't everyone do it?
But everyone does it to some degree, even if their memory and on-the-spot maths skills aren't as good as mine so they're not as effective, they'll still be seeing numbers and making decisions based on the highest probability to win money. Getting angry with me because I'm better at it is like... threatening a champion chess player!
Just go home with your lovely wife and you won't have to worry about them, provided you didn't actually tell them your name or that your connected to the Tylers.
