Back home!
We did a bit of a quick disappearence on editrx last night, but we wanted to be back home for Valentine's. Well, that's tomorrow, obviously, and tonight we will probably spend being tired and jet-lagged. (Remember that if any of you lot have a case, we'd be happy to pay you a visit.)
But Rose has made some plans for tomorrow! Should be fun! I like Valentine's Day, even if it is a bit full of traditions I keep forgetting these days!
I still hate flying. At least no luggage was lost this time, although our friend Van Statten had his people ping us when we were leaving (I found out by borrowing a terminal at the airport). Fortunately at the moment he's not doing anything more than spying - I was half worried we'd get detained for some made up reason and the last time I've had to empty my pockets it did not go well.
Rose, do we know anyone who Adam Mitchell's a bit friendly with at Torchwood? Someone to butter him up a bit and find out what he knows about Van Statten's work? And he's good with computers, but maybe I can find some way of getting into his system (I only found out about the trace on us because the Boston airport network is not remotely secure compared to his).
Anyway, I think I need to go and argue with the robots. Wall-E emailed me and suggested I might like to babysit for Bolt tomorrow while he and the Toaster have a romantic evening. My reply was a little blunt and now he's sulking. I suspect I may have to apologise, and possibly offer some compromise.
Why did I think domestic AI robots would be better than just using the vaccuum every once in a while myself?
