OK, so let's say for the sake of argument, that you're an alien who happens to look a lot like a polar bear. That can fly. Apparently without the aid of wings or any sort of engine. Leaving aside the aerodynamic difficulties, why would you then kidnap a chimp from her zoo habitat and fly off?
If someone could present us with a convincing motive, Rose and I would be much obliged.
We have been busy, today, though. Amanda Bacon seems like a nice woman - bit of a Dr Doolittle type, but that's probably better for the animals anyway. She cleared a bit of space for us in her office and we reviewed the CCTV footage. In what little of it there is, Mindy does not appear to be happy about flying off with the as yet unnamed polar bear. She looks like she'd much rather be in back in her home.
We also did a nice study of the design of the microchip Mindy is implanted with, leading me to conclude that most likely someone or something intelligent sabotaged it. Oh, and Mindy's various X rays and veterinary charts suggest she is a chimp as opposed to an alien. I suppose you never know, of course...
Amanda is calling around her contacts and watching the news to keep an eye out for things. Rose and I are going to poke around on some of the more secretive channels (satellite transmissions, government surveillance, etc) and see what we can find.
Hmm... maybe Tyler2 needs its own satellite. That could be handy, don't you think?
