And it wasn't specifically what I was asking, but I'm glad you're all right.

I want us to be OK, though. I don't want you to think I'm just going to run off because I've clearly done a bit of a rubbish job about things in that you do.

Look, you're the only family I've got left. Real family anyways. The Tylers are nice and everything, and I like them, but it's hard to make people family in such a short time.

You were always good at that. I'm not anymore.

And to be honest, I guess I don't know this you very well. All I know is the you that locked me out of the TARDIS and I didn't see you again until the war started.

Yeah, it took me a bit of a while before they were family, as opposed to Rose's family. I think they're sort of stuck that way now, though!

I'm not going to leave like I did before. This place... no matter how small and dull and silly it gets, it's far more my home than Gallifrey really was. It'd be more like holidays and stuff.

But I'd like you to be all right with the idea. Family, both genetic and... inherited, seems a lot more important these days than it used to.
