The party's very definitely winding down now. There's still a few people, but all the children are in bed.
Stevie left with her client (Tom, did you say, Rose?) a while back, which was a bit of a relief because I'm not quite sure what to do (and because I wasn't sure if she could stay out of Jackie's way all evening and I imagine them meeting would be even more awkward). We didn't really talk much because she was working and I was, well, avoiding her. But she did manage to corner me into phoning her at some point, so I'll have to work out what to say to that.
I think Rose is OK. She seemed OK. Well, OK-ish. This whole thing seems like a bit of a mess. I wish I knew what to do.
Rose did look rather gorgeous, as well. Maybe I like her bikini just a bit. Graham (astrophysics PhD student from UCL who I met in the library) told me off for staring - he said I looked like a fifteen year old. I think he was being silly, since I'm clearly nine hundred and he's twenty four but looks fourteen.
I think it mostly went all right, though. I feel as though I have navigated a rather perilous domestic mine field. Throwing parties is a lot of work! How do people without robots do it?
