Gary the (sort of) parrot
For those curious, this is Gary:
He looks like a fairly typical parrot. The whipped cream we gave him calmed him down nicely so he's no longer burping fireballs at us. He's just making eyes at Rose instead! *WATCHES HIM CAREFULLY*
Anyway, Gary is a half AI robot, half bird who's been grafted together to make a soldier whose expertise is supposed to be interrogation (hence the flames if you get the question wrong - I did try to have a debate with Gary over the use of what could arguably be classified as torture, but he wasn't open to the discussion at that time).
I believe he may have fallen through the transdimensional portal that is apparently not as fixed as I hope it was. (I might have to do something about that if we ever plan to sell the flat...) I think the journey may have broken his AI so he has some moments of what might be called lucidity, interspersed with sending balls of flame at walls because he thought they looked at him funny.
We have an asbestos blanket to cover the cage with.
I'm going to try and both fix the AI and work out how to send him back without breaking it again.
