(no subject)
Holy crap, it is cold here. And it's not like I enjoy the heat...I hate it too. And the rain. There's just no pleasing me. But I DID buy that new snazzy courduroy jacket just in time for the freeze of today. Kudos to me for my psychic ability regarding the weather.

In other news, I have to dress up as a Christmas animal tomorrow for work. A reindeer, to be specific. Some of the other managers in our area decided that it would be cute for us (since there's 8 of us) to dress up as Santa's reindeer for our annual company Christmas party/meeting. I am Blitzen...at least that's what the shirt that was given to me today said on the back of it. I wanted to be Vixen (which was misspelled on THAT shirt as Vixon), but that shirt was an XL...not my size. We were even given fuzzy little antlers to wear. Unfortunately, when I tried them on tonight, it rather looked like a small tree was growing out of the top of my head. I think if my head were bigger, they would look okay, but I have this tiny little peanut head that just can't handle a fashion item of that size.

Anakin, the cat, had managed to pull part of the linoleum in the kitchen up today, which I noticed when I got home. That cat is going to be hurt one day. He has this new thing where he thinks it's fun to scoot his food/water dish around the apartment. He puts his paw in the water side and starts pulling until he's drug it wherever he wants it. I guess in the process, it (or he) got stuck on the linoleum, so he just ripped it up. I should take him outside and leave him for about 10 minutes. I bet he'd get himself back in line then. I'll bet he doesn't realize how harsh the outside world is. I love him though. The little focker. He just needs some discipline I guess. I have noticed that he is growing into quite the man though. Even though he still flounces and skips around alot, he is getting his manly physique. Hopefully he won't regress when I have to have his balls snipped. We play that game now where I grab his balls and he bites me---it's alot more fun (for BOTH) of us, than I can describe. We'll both miss the balls when they're gone.

I got the Seinfeld DVD's for Hannukah last week. I have watched almost all of them now. I have watched a few episodes that I haven't seen in years...I don't know how I missed them in syndication, but I have managed. But....these DVD's are awesome. They have EVERYTHING on them. Commentaries, deleted scenes, extras, etc. I love these DVD's. If my apartment ever catches on fire, they are now on my list of "things to grab as I'm running out the door". There are alot of other things on this list, but it's probably more than I could carry in a catastrophic event, so I won't think about that now.

Denise and I went to Khoury's (an awesome Greek restaurant) on Saturday with her friend Tony. Then we went to Wild Oats for a little shopping. The dinner went well, and I really liked Tony, so I think it was a success. He's very creative, intelligent, artsy, and not at all a part of the mainstream (that's a GOOOOOD thing), so I liked him alot. ;) Hopefully we can all hangout more. *smiles*

Well, I have art I want to work on...and some reading too, so I must go. I need payday to come quickly so I can buy a new mechanical pencil. The one I'm using now just doesn't measure up to the fancy schmancy one I used to have. I hate that I always lose stuff.
