I don't know why but I've been feeling a little stuck-in-a-rut-ish again recently. Just a few things making me a little disillusioned with the world. It's nothing like depression, which is one positive, more like a day dream just a sort of... how more exciting life could be ( Read more... )

it's not all that exciting right now! although i did spend both friday and saturday night drunk lmao .. and sort of pissed off my roommate for a few minutes because i have crazy possessive issues when it comes to my ~NEW FRIENDS~

i do have a job interview tomorrow even though technically i'm hired at the place my brother works but i dont start for 2 weeks and this job is closer and not fast food.

I don't know what Coventry is like.. but my way of falling back in love with Cardiff (and not blaming it for everything, which part of my brain insisted on doing) is just to.. walk. Lol. Anywhere. That's how I ended up in the prettiest park in the world the other day. Granted these are ridiculously small things, but I've always been easily pleased.

Volunteering? Check out do-it.org.uk, see if there's anything exciting (and possibly short-term/flexible, given you're job hunting)?

Wish I had the answer! :( *hugs*

Eh Coventry is okay. I actually know most of the side of the city I live on so maybe... but eh. I do think I need to get out of the house though. Maybe Friday (as I have a friend coming today!)

The thing with volunteering is that I'm still not sure how it's covered under benefits, as it's technically working...

It's okay! I didn't expect any miraculous revealations. Not yet anyway. It'll come!

Okay so I checked (because I'm at a computer when volunteering has been brought it this time) and apparently it's okay...

Having a look but don't know where to start! I mean I could just end up helping in a charity shop but that's a little... well dull considering it's what I'll end up doing as work. I'd love to do something a bit different.

Hello! Um, all a bit embarrassing but you had some rather sensible, not-stupidly-ridiculous conversations going on LJSecret, and so I thought you seemed like rather a nice person. I hope you don't mind me friending you. (: I'm another Dr Who/Torchwood/Harry Potter fan too, and I hope the fact that I'm from Essex doesn't put you off too much!

That's fine and I always appreciate new people :D, as long as you don't mind putting up with my random, eclectic posting!

We definitely have some things in common and Doctor Who (and Torchwood and Harry Potter!) is always a good start :D
