According to the Collins English Dictionary (the Tesco Value answer to the Oxford English dictionary coming in at a mere 97 pence) life is the state of being characterised by growth, reproduction and response to stimuli. However while generally true it has been proven by some people that they can barley reproduce a jigsaw let alone one of the dreaded babies themselves and as for others, well no amount of stimuli is gonna make them take their eyes off of the TV.
A better definition perhaps would probably be the period of time between birth and death. Or at least up until the present point for all those who haven't accidentally stepped into oncoming traffic yet. Granted that's what life sometimes feels like but I'll presume as you're reading this you're pretty much alive, or at least a zombie.
Anyway, my life of course began way back in the late 80s. After a decade filled with bad hair styles, fashion disasters and some catastrophic global events (such as the birth of my sister) the entrance of Gary 'Maximus' Bullock into the world was wildly considered the best thing ever. (This title remained unchallenged until only recently when it was overthrown by Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger getting it on in a tent.)
With my feet firmly on the road of life I head off not knowing what lay ahead of me whether it be an amazing experience filled with happiness, excitement and adventure or just a grizzly bear waiting to eat me me the first chance it got. Fortunately I managed to fight off the bear and so continued down the road of life until I reached where I am today, sitting, writing this because I'm bored and probably procrastinating.
And so this is what you're reading. My life. Life has taught me a lot and shown me even more and so I write this so you can see the world through my eyes. It's not that exciting. You should probably check what's on TV.
(This is me writing about my life, if you haven't guessed. I wrote this about a month ago to try and motivate me to write about my life, and I posted it here so someone may enjoy it, since I never share anything I write and this seems relevant. Hopefully I'll continue to write short experts of my life up, spliced with a bit of good humour and then share them here. Hope you enjoy!)
