one hundred more useless things about me
1. My cellphone company is, and always has been Orange. And always Pay As You Go. I've had two numbers though cause I lost one of my phones.
2. I'm allergic to penicillin.
3. I want to believe in ghosts but I'm too logical and I'm always sceptical when I read anything about it.
4. If I could choose any career, regardless of my skills and abilities, I'd be a writer. Any kind. Books, TV shows, Movies, Comics, Journalist... whichever.
5. I'm not having a birthday cake this year. I'm making a trifle. Cause they're nicer than birthday cake. Last year I made a cheesecake!
6. My current excercise regime involves the bottom stair in my house, a tin of beans, and tin of spaghetti and Britney Spears. I didn't do it much this week though cause my mom was home and that would just be embarrasing.
7. I haven't crossed anything off of my list in a while. Most of them are long term goals though, in my defence. Although with some of them I'm just being lazy. Writing another 100 things about me is on my list though.
8. Last time I wrote a 100 things I told everyone I had had two operations on my eyes and apparently I had told like no one this before.
9. I also had a hernia operation when I was small. And also a hole in my heart when I was born, but that fixed itself. And many other things. I was quite a sick child apparently. And now I'm never ill. Damnit.
10. My favorite Harry Potter book is the Goblet of Fire. I like the different schools and the tournament.
11. I have a tiger hanging from my curtain rail. I think I got it from West Midlands Safari Park.
12. My current favorite songs are Orson - No Tomorrow, Blur - Country House, Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway, Nelly Furtado - Maneater and Alanis Morisette - Eight Easy Steps.
13. Recently I started an 'idea pad' to write down any ideas I have for storys as I usually end up forgetting them. I have four ideas so far and one involves time travel!
14. The last thing I drew was Ewan and Nicole from Moulin Rouge but then I decided to use colour and ruined it. I need better pencils. That's why I usually stay with just pencil if I ever draw.
15. The first pets I had were fish called Rosie and Jim.
16. We also used to have a rabbit called Freddie after Freddie Mercury but he almost got eaten by the dog next door so we had to give it away.
17. My daily summer routine at the moment is: wake up, computer til 11am, housework til 1pm, episode of Buffy along with lunch until 1:45pm, then a bit more housework, then excercise until 3pm, then an episode of Spongebob Squarepants, then Countdown at 3:30, then Deal or No Deal, then Friends. But now Deal or No Deal is ending. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? But yeah, aren't my summers interesting?
18. My favorite lessons at school were probably Art and English. Art was always in the afternoon on Thursday and Friday in my last two years, and English was usually interesting and the teacher was good.
19. Saying that maths probably interests me most. I just love it when you get an answer and it's RIGHT. It's kind of like when programming in Computing. It's so good when it WORKS. I sound like a total dork don't I?
20. So the last three times I've gone out I've spent a total of about £6. This includes me drinking 3 or 4 drinks and seeing two different films. People just don't want to take my money!
21. I took the can of pringles, still half full and put it in my draw, half because I like Pringles and didn't want anyone else to have them and half because Freddie Ljungberg was on the tube. It just seemed wrong that I didn't have it.
22. When I went to France with the school I bought a large Pokemon, a Pichu! Not Pikachu. You know, instead of proper souviniers. I did buy some. But GIANT POKEMON! In my defence everyone else seemed to think it was cool.
23. I once had a list of people I hated at school which I kept as a small rolled up peice of paper in my blazer pocket. For anyone who went to the school it contained: Ricky, Reuben, Melissa, Micheal Bateman, Danny Beauchamp, Mrs. Driscoll and I'm sure there were a lot more people on it, but those are all I can remember.
24. And by the way the crush I had, since everyone always asks, was Liam Winton. That would be so embarrasing if he ever found out.
25. I keep loads of random stuff. I have a paper hat from a school Christmas dinner which I drew on with Oil Pastels. Lots of Cinema Tickets. An egg-shaped bouncy ball which I drew a Weebl face on. A slug on wheels I got out of the cereal, which was coincidentally called Gary. And lots more.
26. When I went to see Superman they showed a trailer for Snakes on a Plane, and everyone just kind of laughed. It was so funny how everyone just did that. It actually looks so lame it'll be good if you know what I mean?
27. On top of my wardrobe used to be full of Simpsons stuff but now it's mostly in boxes for when I move to a smaller room. All that's on there now is a Homer remote control organiser, a 3d Sculpture puzzle of Homers head... and a dinosaur made out of Knex.
29. I have a huge mug that says 'Central Perk' on it just like they have in Friends. I was so impressed when I got it.
30. In this mug is sitting a soft toy duck from Mcdonalds, although I think I stole it off of my sister.
31. I have a stero that not only doesn't work when you try to play CDs but I actually never use it, but it's still been sitting on my side for a few years now.
32. I think Ethan is like the coolest fictional person ever. Why did I not find Ctrl-Alt-Del sooner?
33. My feet are UK size 12. Uh... yeah that's big.
34. All my socks are various shades of black or grey. They used to all have the Simpsons on it but now my feet are too big and have to get regular socks.
35. When I'm lying in my bed I often feel the need to grab some paper and write various things down. Like songs I need to download. Or things I need to do. Or just anything random. I can never read my writing the next morning though.
36. It took a lot of self control to not write 'When I'm lying in my bed, thoughts running through my head, and I feel the love is dead, I'm loving Angels instead.' Damn Robbie Williams.
37. I had chicken for dinner. Mm.. so good.
38. If I could have one wish I'd wish for a Time Machine (specifically the Tardis in Doctor Who). Not to change things, just to learn things.
39. When I was in Year 6, which is about aged 11, me and my friends performed a dance routine in a talent show to S Club 7's first song.
40. In another talent show I did a comedy thing. But my friend messed up a joke. 'Apart from the beak, it's legs, and (something else) name a part of a bird' The answer is WING. Damnit. Who wouldn't say wing?
41. I've posted every single day on here since February the 7th. That's 166 days. And I've posted more than one entry on many days. That's a lot of entries.
42. My favourite weather is when it has snowed over night heavily, but it's really bright sunshine the following day so it's cold but bright.
43. There was a point where I almost played the tuba in the school band but I didn't because I hated it and I didn't like the music teacher. I always wanted to play the trombone.
44. My favorite character that Jake Gyllenhaal plays is Jimmy in Bubble Boy.
45. The most obsessive I've ever got about anything was when they were going to release Pokemon Gold. This was to the extent that I couldn't sleep and had a dream that I was playing it. It was like the most exciting thing ever! Now it just makes me look dorky. I remember the exact situation in which I got it. The day I got it it was the last day of term before Easter, I had science as my last lesson and we were watching Men Behaving Badly. My mom and dad had had a day off so I had asked them to get it for me and I was so excited that I almost ran to the car after school.
46. My favorite theme park ride is Nemisis at Alton Towers. I always laugh on it though. I laugh on all theme park rides.
47. I collected the 'Mr. Men' and 'Little Miss' books when I was little. You know, like Mr. Happy, Mr. Tickle. I still have them all somewhere. I used to know them almost off by hand.
48. The first movie I can remember seeing at the cinema is the Flintstones movie.
49. My top 5 most used tags on Livejournal are 'random', 'movies', 'tv', 'college' and 'memes'. 'jakegyllenhaal' comes runner up in 6th place.
50. Nikki is my new favorite Big Brother housemate ever. Old favorites include Jade Goody and Helen. Basically, funny housemates are the best. I've watched every single series of Big Brother!
51. My favorite season of Buffy is season 6 (With the three geeks, Willow going crazy and great episodes such as 'Once More With Feeling' aka the musical). My second favorite is season 3 (Cause Faith and the Mayor are cool).
52. My favorite bad guy is Glory though. Season 5. But we also get Dawn so season five annoys me a bit.
53. I have a lot of TV shows on DVD or video. All season of Buffy, All seasons of Friends, All seasons of Futurama, seasons 1-6 of the simpsons, both seasons of Little Britain, season two of Bo Selecta and season one of the Vicar of Dibley.
54. On my 10th birthday I had a skiing party at the dry ski slope which is right by old school!
55. If I'm wearing a light coloured top I will almost ALWAYS drop just one single dot or sauce or something on it. Just on tiny drop. Always. It's like it knows what color I am wearing.
56. I did French for five years but I still could never speak French properly. Then again I always used to talk about TV with my friends.
57. On the keyboard I can play The Simpsons, Rugrats and Eastenders theme tunes. I used to be able to do part of 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celien Dion but I've forgotten now.
58. In my final year 6 I stared in the school play, Oliver! I played the rich guy who takes in Oliver half way through the musical. I had to sing and everything.
59. That used to be my favorite musical, Oliver that is. I used to watch it like all the time! Then it became Grease, but now, after being shown it almost EVERY TERM at the end of term in Madeley Court I'm now bored of it. And here we get Moulin Rouge! Best Musical Ever!
60. I have 539 songs on my computer and I haven't listened to 180 of them.
61. Before I got my livejournal I had a diaryland diary. It's annoying though cause the only one I can find is a sims thing I did, so I must have deleted all of my old entries, which is annoying because I could have moved them over here.
62. My favorite animals when I was small were Giraffes. I had two teddy's called Jolly Tall and Jolly Small.
63. I only applied for one job before Argos, and that was at a supermarket. I'm glad I didn't get it, I just couldn't do a supermarket.
64. I have a miniture bottle of Archers which is sitting inside a glass inside my stereo which I got at Christmas and have been saving it with the vague notion of having it on my 18th.
65. I once had an xray on my thumb after slipping over and hitting it on a concrete bin. After it swelled to the size of a small rubber ball we thought we better get it checked out. It was only bruised though.
66. I always sound out Wednesday when I spell it. 'Wed-nes-day'.
67. For my birthday I am going out for a meal with my family in the day time, then shopping for a computer, then going out with my friends in the evening!
68. If there's one thing that's disappointing about being gay is not being able to have a traditional wedding ever. And no, I'm not interested in meeting a guy who would want to wear a wedding dress. But yeah it's just romantic and stuff.
69. My least favourite parts of my body are my toenails.
70. I love cool groups and sequences of numbers. For example the lost numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42), the Donnie Darko time until the end of the world, (28 6 12 42), and also the Fibonacci sequence (1 1 2 3 5 8 13... etc).
71. I officially gave Freddie Ljungberg his own Livejournal tag yesterday. And it's rare for me to give specific things their own tags.
72. In total the Disney songs on my iPod have over 600 plays. Sad, I know.
73. When I heard 'gullible' wasn't in the dictionary I looked it up and saw it was and took me years to realise it was me, not the person who said it, was being stupid.
74. When I listen to songs I end up attaching stories, either real or fictional to them which sometimes makes me like a song more than I should. And that's why I've listened to 'That's My Goal' by Shayne Ward 126 times and is my fourth most listened to song.
75. My nan watches or at least used to watch wrestling. Like WWF. That's just funny isn't it?
76. When we sold our old house we sold it to people who also had the surname 'Bullock'.
77. I own a nodding Gromit, the dog, as in Wallace and Gromit.
78. My year 4 teacher once called me Gary Bollock... it was so funny!
79. When I did my history GCSE one of the modules was the American West. I'm glad I did this before Brokeback as I'm pretty sure I would be a bit weird. And the other module was 'Medicine through time' which was actually quite interesting. YAY FOR THE PLAUGE! I've never learnt about the World Wars though. Wow a whole point about History. Fun eh?
80. I don't know why but when guys wearing something like some sort of chain or necklace round their neck it makes them look more attractive than they really are. I think it makes them look cuter. And that goes for facial hair sometimes. Some people look cute with facial hair, or at least cuter.
81. When I did work experience in year 10 I worked at a company that made DVDs and CDs. I was really hoping they were going to give me Buffy the Vampire Slayer or The Simpsons DVDs that I had seen around to say thanks but they never.
82. Top three most listened to songs are actually my favourites. Queen - Don't Stop Me Now has 187 plays. The Rembrandts - I'll Be There For You (aka the Friends Theme tune) has 157 plays and Alanis Morisette - Ironic has 136 plays.
83. I once thought I saw Santa in my house on Christmas cause I sneaked down and saw a flash of red, so I ran back up stairs scared because I thought he was going to get me.
84. This is what I used to look like around 7 years ago. I used to be really skinny. That's my sisters room by the way. She lives in the attic.
85. When I was little my mom painted a giant Thomas the Tank Engine on my wall.
86. One of my biggest pet peeves is when 'ppl type lyk dis', I mean how the hell am I supposed to understand what they're talking about?
87. I own a cactus, which used to sit in a Taz cup, but now sits in a small ceramic pot with Marge from the Simpsons on it.
88. On the wall in the kitchen there is a large wooden spoon and fork. Everyone always knocks off the fork and breaks one of the prongs.
89. I once won a calculator in a school raffle. This is extra funny because I was kind of known as the smart maths one. The guy who taught me maths used to call me 'the maths monster' which granted sounds really weird now.
90. Sometimes before I go to sleep I listen to music until I'm really tired, which includes mouthing along to the words and moving along to the beat. This started when I was in a weird mood and felt a real need to listen to 'One Day I'll Fly Away' from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack but now I just do it for fun.
91. This has taken me about 5 hours to complete and I've been bugging Kirsty on MSN with it. And I just told her I'm on 90 and she told me to 'kinda fudge the last 10'.
92. Once when it was snowing loads they closed school half way through the day, and my mom came to pick me up but I was really annoyed because I wanted to finish singing '10 fat sausages sizzling in the pan' before I went but she wouldn't let me.
93. When I was in preschool I got told off for putting soap all over the mirrors and thought I was in trouble so I hid in the toilet.
94. When I used to listen to my iPod on the bus it used to be really quiet because I was so paranoid that people would either hear the Disney songs, or anything off the South Park Soundtrack, especially when an old person sat next to me. Luckily I have eliminated all embarresing songs from my iPod.
95. When I was littler, like about 10, I used to 'plan' christmas with my little sister months in advance, including needlessly detailed plans of what I was going to do. It usually consisted of like: '3AM: Wake up, 3:03AM: Go to the toilet, 3:06AM Wake up my sister, 3:10AM look at presents under the tree' It also included things like what I was going to do until I could open the presents but I never did it and just ended up going around the house like a crazy person until my parents woke up. One year I drew maps of my house and colored in where the creaky floorboards were. One year the house kept making weird sounds and freaking out us both. I could go on about my Christmas adventures all day, seriously. Christmas is my favorite time of the year ever!
96. I used to sing along to the Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (which I've actually seen in show when I was small) and dance around in my dressing gown during the song with all the colors.
97. I was born at 12:40AM. Thats twenty to one in the morning. (Specially requested by Jess!)
98. Family holidays used to consist of hanging around in arcades playing with claw machines to win toys, or those machines where you put in like 2p to try to push more 2p coins off of the edge!
