renegade_raine tagged me in her LJ entry this one here and she listed some of the most listenable tracks out there!!! Even if they are..not really recent, i believe that music is timeless, so why not?

1. Enter Sandman - Metallica
All time fave XD What can I say? I have been listening to this song for 5 years and I'm still not sick of it.
2. Christmas Don't Be Late - Alvin and the Chipmunks
Just watched the movie, that's why. It's so damn cute seeing the chipmunks swaying their butts to "Me, I want a Hoola-hoop". Even the hardest heart melt. No wonder the acting sucks, but the chipmunks are memorable.
3. Blaze Line - Back-On
An OP for Eyeshield 21...very apt for Sena vs Agon; which seemed to be reprising in the next chapter. Damn I hate that Agon. Just as I am about to feel more for him, he showed up with agendas like that. Sena better be having some valuable affairs training sessions with Shin.
4. Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
Also another that I had been listening endlessly for years. XD Never got bored of it.
5. Forsure - The Lost Prophets
I never knew what this band sounds like, and after listening to this one...not bad!
6. Wing-Stock (Cape Breton Lullaby) - Ashley MacIsaac
Whoever thought that I hate Rukia due to my shipping preferences, they got it wrong. Her theme song had been topping my playlist since...I first know Bleach. Or maybe just because I love the music. Either way, i still never hated the character associated with this song.
7. Qing Hua Chi (Greem Flower Vase) - Jay Chou
I know that only listening to select ones from Taiwan doesn't help in my music preference, but this is the most romantic song I've heard from him.

In the meantime, some rant. Just a little. Those who arent into European Soccer may not understand some of this, but maybe this is not as hard I wanted it to be.
I was in the car, filled with celebratory mood for Manchester United being crowned as the Champions for the Premier league, but listening to the radio had me disgusted over the gender stereotyping in sports.
Typical conversation.
Guy: Hey, girl, you know what happened to football yesterday?
Girl: Tell me, guy! What happened?
Guy: *jabbers away*..and you know Ronaldo right?
Girl: Oh, you mean that cutie playing for Manchester United?
Guy: *jabbers away with some footie term*
Girl: Wait, what is that?
Guy: I thought so, let me explain to you.
Girl: Thanks, I love hearing about guys in Football.
One word. Retarded.
Come on, radio people. Girls aren't just looking for guys in football. There are those who love the beautiful game for what it is, and anticipating the fixture because we know the game affects the table. There are girls like me who cares about who wins in the strategies, and not which player is hotter.
Girls aren't shallow idiots who only look at guys for the torso during the game. The real female football fans look at where the ball is.
