The Church and Its Orbs - Planning

I wrote in my The Church and Its Orbs universe for the first time in forever. This is possibly canon and possibly not. Enjoy!

Aw, thank you! <3

I'm glad you enjoyed this so much. :D

My favorite line of Wren's was her answer to Kai asking her if she ever knew she had to do something but really didn't want to.

Also, Kai loves his rainbows, like, a lot. I don't think most gods when they do that "giant column of light" trick have rainbow lights. He just likes rainbows. I think I told you how he's gay in a world that doesn't have the rainbow symbolism, right? So, in-universe, the rainbows are just a thing he likes, but to readers they're a clue of sorts. VERY SUBTLE, yes? lol

Now I'm wondering how physical gods are in this world, if they can turn into light like that. Or if they even understand gender and sexuality. I think they do, at least some of them. In my vague plans for this universe, Brandon and Wren have a thing together, and Kai has an unrequited crush on Brandon, like Gemma has one on Wren. So Kai and Gemma are like "incompatible orientation sucks" at some point, maybe. But romance isn't the most important thing in this book/series/whatever it turns out to be. The most important thing is fighting the corrupt Church and whatever bigger evil is out there.
