My brain is being ridiculous right now. I'm trying to work on
The Church and Its Orbs right now (waaaaay behind on Camp NaNo!), but my main character, Gemma, is being contrary and not giving me anything. I guess she's acting like a stereotypical teenager and NOT cooperating when I ask her to, heh. Or maybe I shouldn't blame my character and should instead blame my BRAIN. That fucker is a total asshole.
Since my brain is being an ass, it's giving me scenes/ideas for a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT story of mine, one I was TRYING to put on hiatus since I'm rewriting the thing in third person instead of first. What gives? Bad brain, bad!
How do I make my stupid brain behave and work on what I actually want to work on? Beating it with a stick seems like an ill-advised plan, as that's likely to give me head trauma rather than proper inspiration.
