I secretly ship this, okay? I ship Brendan (or Devin) with just about anyone, really. My fandom bicycles fucking each other yessssss.

I love that this one took some time to get to the smut. I also like that Brendan, y'know, LIVED. And that they successfully completed the mission -- even if it meant that Brendan got hurt pretty severely. Because yessss, Brendan/Devin. xD

So, um. I ship Brendan/Devin which is kinda sad since I ship them with their canon(ish) partners. But just, aw... they have so much in common and they don't even know it and they have such an amazing h/c dynamic or the potential for it and unf. Also, my theory is that everyone from Devin's side is fascinated with muscles and he secretly likes them too but doesn't want to admit it because he's still butthurt over the muscle touching incident.

Loved "Not a bad liar. That lie was fucking believable." Oh, Devin.

Also amused me that the story was not supposed to be about him. But yay for Brendan not dying and I loved this storrrrrrryyyyyyy. :)

I'm happy you were pleased with your holiday fic, despite it being pretty much the exact fucking opposite of what your original request was. Devin will take over ALL THE FICS, even the ones explicitly not supposed to be about him. Especially the ones that are explicitly not supposed to be about him.

I have a Thing about Suspiciously Specific Denial stuff, haha. Glad you enjoyed that line. :)
