Coffee?

Vorlons don't drink coffee...but Kosh is looking forward to meeting the telepath from Vir's party again...and her companion.

Perhaps they can be of use to one another.

[Cally and Stark approach the center of the Zocalo, picking out the cafe, and the slight disruption in the crowd around the Vorlon.]

[Stark catches sight of Kosh and waves at him as they approcah.]

Kosh inclines the head of the encounter suit.

The telepath has asked for this meeting but he has things he wants to ask her.

*Show me* he sends, softening the request by making it a question. He wants to know how a telepath not touched by either his people or -- the Others -- can exist.

[Stark peers curiously at the Vorlon as they arrive, then blinks hard and looks away. There's something about the being that his incorporeal senses find rather disturbing to look at too closely.]

[alien_oracle]

Kosh turns toward Stark.

There is something here...something....This one is different. He tries to contact Stark as he has Cally.

[banik]

[Stark looks startled.] Yes? What?

[alien_oracle]

* You are not a telepath. How can you hear me?

[banik]

I don't know. The same way Cally can hear me? Can you?

[comradecally]

[turns to Stark] You can speak to him, too?

[banik]

[shrugs] I heard... felt... heard something.

[comradecally]

This could be a very quiet coffee, then! [to both Stark and Kosh] (amusement) We should remember to have at least one conversation aloud. I would like to give those tabloid readers something to think about.

[banik]

[nods, puts an arm around her shoulders and looks around at the crowd, hopefully trying to spot a reporter]

[comradecally]

[grins, and puts her arm around his waist] Careful what you wish for!

[alien_oracle]

"Why?"

The word is preceeded by trills and twitters.

[grin] Did you read that tabloid story?

[alien_oracle]

Kosh read it.

Kosh remembers the outrage the homeworld had about it and the long letter they sent to the tabloid. Unfortunately, he fears the translation made little sense to the reporter or her superiors.

*he conveys all this in a bemused thought*
