they say that "fate doesnt wait. grab it by the balls and make it your bitch". have you ever heard this phrase or something similar? i have. and what i find quite perplexing about this little quote is that fact that it is somewhat of a contradiction. why im saying this, is that fact is that you can not make fate happen; it just does. like the time i fell in love was nothing but fate. i was not consciously looking for someone, and yet there he was.i knew the second i saw him that i loved him. for that breif moment that we were together, he was my God. and yet, as all things, our love died. and i veiwed this particular clap of fate as an experiment in life; a learing experiment if you will. i veiwed and reviewed our relationship and thats what he was, on hell of a guinipig.
but is it rigth or even possible to control fate? can you infact make things happen? this notion has puzzled me for quite awhile now. here, let me lay down a senario for you; lets say you see a member of the oppisite sex who is quite attractive. you make eye contact with this person. a sence of anticipation comes over you, a sence of wonderment, a thought much along the lines of "who is this person?" its not all sexual feelings though. there is some of sheer curiosity as to why he was there at the same time as you....then later you see them again. you make eye contact once more. what do you do? do you talk to them and just let them go? brush it off as "sheer coincidence"? you think to yourself "if i see them again, i will talk to them". but it never comes. you leave before you have a chance to see them again. now you feel restless like you should have said something. was it fate that you two never were to talk? or was i just a coinicidence, no deeper meaning.
this person is on your mind. not offten enough to stalk them, but just enough to keep your imagination a flame. after a few weeks, slowly the pool of thoguhts of this divine being flow away into mear puddles, and yet still they linger. what do you think now? just a coincidence, right?
as your fire of ambition gives way to a canles flame, you hear something of great curiosity; the person you were thinking of has some how indirectly come back into your life. a friend of yours has connections with this person. you now have a renewed chance to talk to them. do you talk? or is this just another coincidence?
is this fate giving you another chance? if so, is it worth the risk? is it just a coincidence that has no meaning? if you were to go for this oppertunity, would you be working with fate, or against it?
