There is a energy.
I can feel a breeze,
Kissed by rain.
I am confused.
A little bitter.
A little washed up.
But moments like this make me feel the life,
That runs through my veins,
Cycles through this still beating heart.
Still after dark.
Through an open window I am touched.
By the sheer stupid simplicity.
By the woooooshing of cars.
The rat tat tat of rain drops.
The rush of cool, crisp air on my face.
I thought I was dead.
But my heart.
She beats.
She beats for me.
