General:

• No bashing of characters, ships or actors, neither of the CBS show NCIS nor any other. Failure to comply with this rule will result in getting the comments deleted. RPF is not allowed and prompts/fills using that will be deleted without prior warning.
• This is not a spoiler free community. Everything that has aired is fair game. There is no need to warn for spoilers.
• This is a general prompt meme for the CBS show NCIS, not a kink meme.
• Use the “Don’t like? Don’t read!” guideline. If something isn’t to your liking, ignore it.
• Both prompts and fills can be posted as anonymous. You are free to sign both your prompts and fills if you wish.
• Remember that behind every screen is a real person with real feelings. Criticism of fic should always be kept constructive.
• Please try to use proper grammar and spelling when posting prompts and fills (e.g. no chat speak/txt tlk) and make your fills easy to read (e.g. use line breaks).
• If you have questions about a signed prompt, use PMs rather than spamming the community.
• Seconding prompts is fine. Once we reach “fifthing”, however, it’s safe to assume we’ve all gotten the point.

Trigger Warnings:

• Trigger warnings go into the comment title.
• TWs should be used when dealing with sexual assault/rape, violence, abuse, drug/substance abuse, suicide, self-injury, slurs, *isms as well as homo- and transphobia. Use them!
• Prompts and/or fills failing to use trigger warnings will be deleted.
• It is not the responsibility of the prompter to use trigger warnings for possible fills. E.g. if the prompt is “Ziva struggles with what happened in Somalia.” the prompt does not require a trigger warning. Fills still might and it is the responsibility of the person filling the prompt to use them.
• Note: (Fem)Slash is not something that should be warned for. Such warnings will be removed.

Prompt formatting:

• The comment title is reserved for trigger warnings.
• Body of the comment is used for character(s) and the prompt itself.
• Please note that this is a prompt meme to tickle muses and inspire people. If your prompt reads as a play-by-play of what you want to read, you should reconsider posting on here. Keep your prompts short.
• One prompt per comment. Please do not spam the community with prompts.
• If your prompt uses a picture, please upload it elsewhere and link to it. Too many pictures would slow down page loading for people with slow internet.

Fill formatting:

• Fills are posted as direct replies to the prompt.
• Content of the comment title should be: FILL: title (RATING) [TRIGGER WARNINGS]. Titles are optional, ratings and trigger warnings are not!
• Fills can be anon.
• You can use either the MPAA or FRC rating systems: PG/FRC, PG-13/FRT, R/FRM, NC-17/FRAO.
• In case of long fills, can post them somewhere else and link to them in the reply (your own LJ/DW, FFN, A03, tumblr, whathaveyou). Please note that using the trigger warnings in the comment title is also mandatory for linked fills.
• Multiple fills for one prompt by different people are encouraged.
• Prompts from past rounds are still open for filling.
