In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

Title: Soulless

Why?: Soph, writes a lot. She does fluff and angst and everything in between. I like Soulless because it takes something as simple as Ziva's running and makes an entire story about it. It is a sad but honest look at Ziva. It also has a sentence where Ziva compares herself to Kate, which I thought poignant.

Title: Treading Muddy Waters

Why?: Because it's a fic featuring Eli David and McGee. McGee is often ignored regarding the whole Somalia arc and so this fic explores his feelings. It also doesn't make Eli David out to be the root of all evil. It's a wonderful fic.

Author: LtTanyaBoone
Why?: It's dark. It's painful. The Russian word Toska has not equivalent in the English language. There was two parallel stories going on. It's dark and sad.

Why?: This was her first NCIS one. And wow. She creates a view of Tony and Ziva that is both tragic and hopeful.

Why?: A drabble for every single episode ever. I like this one because the drabbles show different sides of the characters. The drabbles written for the episodes featuring Jeanne Benniot, I made me like her.

Why?: Every time I re-read this fic. It leave me speechless. It's true to Ziva's character and explores everyone she has lost including herself.

Why?: I like love how zaedah uses words. It's creative and quite often I want to read them aloud because of how it must all sound.
