back to reality....
WELL!my wkd was really great!well....most of it,hehe.
it took forever for friday to get here but it finally did.work was hellish.we were understaffed so that after naptime,i was working alone with 16 toddlers and preschoolers.i was super pissed.first of all,it's illegal,the ratio i believe is 8:1,so i had two times over my safe limit.yeah,it took me one hour just to change all the diapers and put cots away,then another hour to give snack and start dishes.by 4:30,8 kids had left so that was huge.My boss finally got her ass over here (she said she'd be in at 3 when nancy left,yah right)and said,"oh,well you look like you have everything under controll"....i was not at all happy and didn't pretend i was.i was doing closing stuff right up till 6pm.
well,then i got home and did some dishes and then went for a beer run.got caught bringing it in and had to dump out my 24 pk and got written up for a ticket.WHAT THE FUCK!my luck was horrible.i was sooo mad.kevin got here shortly after that and i started to feel somewhat better.still was mad.me,him,and vanessa went back to the liquor store before it closed and took extra precautions bringing it in.i can't believe i got caught-first time in 4yrs and so close to the semester being over.i wrote some malicious things down on our "writing wall" when you come in the front doors.i won't lie,i got a little carried away.i wonder if they knew it was me???
hmm...anyway,kevin and vanessa and i went out and it was a good time.saturday was gorgous out and kevin and i drove up to Gooseberry.It was so much fun!the weather was good and we walked like miles.it was so pretty....
we went out to eat when we got back to duluth and then came back to the apartment.we tried to round everyone up to go bowling(which everyone was up for before it seemed.....)but no one wanted to go so me and kevin went alone.it was still great-he beat me first game by one point,then he beat me the second game and i beat him the last one-but a ton i might add!we had a couple of pitchers and then drank in the bar there...we got a cab and hit last call at Runway then went home.sunday we just slept in and watched tv and then he went home around 5 :(
then i got to work cramming for my test which i took today.god,i didn't read anything last wk like planned so i read it all sunday night and got up early today and crammed again...we'll see how it goes.
after that test i crammed for my abnormal test-which i think went really well.my last test i did good in again so that was inspiring.
well,today was stef's birthday so she and i went out to eat after my night class.it was fun too.now,i'm ready to go to bed early and get rested for the rest of my hectic week:group meeting w/hillary for methods in the am,then lab,then class,then work.i have a ton of shit to do by friday.
i'm going home this wkd and bringing a bunch of stuff with me to veronica's:tv and dvd,wooden cabinets,shit under my bed,dishes,plastic storage containers,clothes i don't wear....pretty much everything i can fit in my car and don't need in the next 4 wks.
but,i'm ready to get ready for bed so i'm outie.laters.aLiTa
