So I've decided to try opening my artistic side again...
This is never a good sign. I've actually tried to draw things again.
The shame.
You have to understand, sketching things was never my strong point. And even after a couple years of on-and-off interest in drawing, I've only really got a couple of strange drawing styles to my name. Seriously, whatever I draw is weird.
Why do I bring this up, you ask. Well, there are two reasons.
First of all, I'm going to do a little sketchy-meme thing. Give me a character from an anime, and I'll do a pencil doodle up for you by next Monday =D
The second thing is that I'm looking for a partner to do a manga with.
You see, at the beginning of last year, a friend and I decided that we were going to create a manga together. She was pretty good at drawing, I was pretty good at making stories, so it'd work out pretty well. I spent a while creating some stories, and we decided that we'd start as soon as I got some good ideas of the plot. Problem was that by the time I did get ideas, she was too busy, and then I was too busy, and in the end everything fell apart, and I've got pages and pages of character design, scripts, layouts, and poses that simply languish in my folder.
Recently, I dug them out, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I'd actually gotten done, I typed and scanned most of the good stuff into my computer, and then asked my friend if she was still interested in doing the manga, but she had totally lost interest.
That's when I got to this point. I know that there are a lot of really great artists among my friends, so I decided to ask you all if you'd be interested in drawing raw pages for my brain child. I'd write the plots, clean the scans, whatever, I just can't ... draw.

If anyone's interested, I'll e-mail you everything that I have. It's a ... I'm actually not sure how to classify the damn thing. But there's het and shounen-ai and rock-bands and glitter and pretty boys and snarky girls and angsty pasts and romance and I think it's really rather fun, myself XD
