This is what happens when you have over 100 albums of show tunes

I have at least two musicals meeting each of the following criteria (individually, not jointly... if there's anything that meets them jointly, color me wigged out.)

1) Is about pirates.
((Solved by darkladyothsith: Pirates of Penzance and The Pirate Queen))
2) Is about a French revolution.
((Solved by dokool: Les Miserables and The Scarlet Pimpernel))
3) Takes ( Read more... )

We're talking stage musicals, right?

2) Les Mis, The Scarlet Pimpernel

13) Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (in fact, I believe if you want nitpick, these can do double-duty for #19 as well)

14) The Producers, Kiss Me Kate

15) The Lion King, Aida

17) Annie!, Annie Get Your Gun

20) The Wiz, Wicked (both adapting The Wizard of Oz)

3 1/2 Internet cookies, and some crumbs, pour vous.

I'm including musicals which, as far as I know, exist only in movie form, but they're mostly stage ones.

I want to know your conversion ratio, as noted in a deleted comment to a deleted comment =P

(p.s. you can actually edit comments now, no need to delete)

Sorry, I meant 4 1/2 and crumbs (miscounted). You get a full cookie each for 2, 13, 14, and 15, crumbs for 17 because "Annie" is painfully obvious and well-known, and half a cookie for naming one story (the Wizard of Oz) that has been adapted more than once.

Oh, I misunderstood #20, I didn't realize you were looking for two examples of such an occurrence. Sadly that's all I got.

But!

16) Assassins, Cannibal! The Musical

I had not been aware of Cannibal! (and, sadly, now aware of it, I can't find it on the library website to borrow and rip) but will count this. One more cookie for you.

3) Chess, The King and I

I will take half a cookie for this - to be honest I was double-checking Chess on Wikipedia because I could have sworn some of it took place in Russia, turns out I was mistaken. But I knew the King and I to begin with. Hell, I was Louis in my school's production. Good times.

Yeah, Wikipedia is cheating. I came up with this list just by scrolling through my playlist and remembering stuff.

And how do you edit comments? I did not know this.

Button shows up when you post, I believe right next to the delete button. Gets taken away after somebody replies to your comment or after X amount of time, I think.

I don't see any such button. The Delete button is between Freeze and (link).

You should be getting a button between Delete and (link) immediately after posting.

Could this be a paid account feature, or something?
