I understand why Newt Gingrich could be received into the Church, despite being on his third marriage. Still, I had to laugh at this comment he made when talking about his conversion, “I got into the habit of trying to be a good husband, and would attend the noon Mass to hear [Callista Gingrich] sing.” I hope he stays in the habit!
