Whenever I rec a story, I think: "You shouldn't do this. You miss so many great ones! You are so inconsistent." This time, however, I have no doubt that I'm recommending a Snarry Classic of the first order.
It has the sparseness of a
caligraphy fic, and a slow, graceful build. It left me crying and smiling, and feeling much better about managing in a difficult world.
The author is someone I enjoy reading, but this story pushes her to the pantheon for me: her
Throwaways was also wonderful, but this was exceptional.
