(no subject)
Things are working slowly here. I've been waiting since I talked to my boss and my new prospective boss in the middle of last week to hear about compensation. So far, word has traveled throughout the company, but I haven't seen any offer letter. I've gotten a lot of congratulations, which I've commented that I'm not even sure that I've gotten the position since I don't have a letter. My boss is talking like it's going to happen soon though, she has asked for me to do a little overtime after my transition to help her with the projects we've been working on together. Of course I'll do some overtime, no school right now and that would be a sweet check!
Greg made me breakfast in bed on Saturday. It was so cute...I came into the kitchen to see what he was doing and he told me to go back in bed and watch the movie (we were in the middle of the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). He brought in a little egg and a basket and a coffee. Too sweet. He cooked again Sunday morning and we drank mimosas with our pancakes and homefries.
I super-cleaned the apartment on sunday afternoon, spent quite a bit of time, but now the tables are shiny and the couches are cathair free. Then I went to the neighbor's with Greg and we all watched football. The Pats vs the Colts was an intense all around game, but most of us were psyched when the Colts pulled through in the end. Good times...
It's almost time to go home. I'm ready...
