The tigers a loosing which is a real bummer for my detroit neighbors. Picture two girls about 4'11" each, dressed in detroit jerseys and hats, drinking pitchers of beer with my boyfriend while watching the tigers on a 12 inch screen in a booth at a bar. Hilarious. That was the scene I entered last night when I returned home from my painting class. Two huge tigers fans, and my boyfriend who had already finished a pitcher by himself.
My painting teacher brought us to the Museum of Fine Arts to see a traveling exhibit for the artist Cecily Brown. I was impressed, usually I hate abstract art, but I was in love with her paintings. They were massive and extremely interesting, she used several layers of color in many beautiful combinations. It was only a tease though, because when we returned to class we had to set up our easels and work on a monochromatic still life. It was a bit depressing, which is why I left a little early to meet greg and the neighbors to watch the tigers loose to the cardinals again. bummer.
Halloween is coming which means my schnooky's birthday is soon! I haven't thought of anything interesting! Damn it.
