Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Turkey Day Everyone!!
I hope everyone has a great day. So far my day has been pretty good. Got up about 8:30 so I could get ready and go to the store... Really didn't need to go, but I wanted to go see someone... I mean I needed to buy some energy drinks and zip-lock bags. Yeah that's why I went =)
Yes I know. I am a TOTALLY dork, but I wanted to see him and I knew he was going to be at work today. So even though there were stores closer to my house I drove to he work so I could see him. I walked in the front door and there he was. I think it shocked him to see me, but it was nice. We talked for a few and then I went to get the groceries I needed. As I turned the corner out of the produce section I looked back and he was looking at me and waved... ::sighs:: ... Sorry I am a dork I know, but I just had to see him today since I didn't get to go with him last night =( Oh well...
Anyhow... I hope that each and everyone of you has a GREAT Thanksgiving.
I just want to talk a minute and list some of the things I am grateful for. You can read it if you want. If not that's cool too =)
My parents. Even though we do not always see eye to eye on things I love them and am grateful for all the love and kindness they have given me over the years.
My best friend in the world, Alisha- She has always stuck by me, even when I am stupid.
Rob, who has been such a great friend to me.
My cousin Jennifer, who lets me come chill at her house and who is so great to hang out with.
My grandparents, both living and deceased, for the examples they have set for me.
My Aunts and Uncles, who make me laugh and who love me.
The home I live in (even though I want out), because it means I belong somewhere.
My job, because it means I'm earning money.
The Gospel
My testimony, because it keeps me going
The Atonement, because I know that I mess up (which I have) I can still make it back if I truly repent.
Others testimonies, because they strengthen my own and help when I am lost
The men and women who have and who are protecting my freedoms
The ability to see, hear, walk and talk
Missionaries (Tyson) for the example that they set
The institute program
The chance I have to serve others and the feeling it brings.
The chance I have to love another, even if it means I will get hurt.
