So on Friday when I get back home from school, there's a note from my parents on the table that says they decided to go away for the weekend so my sister and I are on our own. So that is really cool because it means I can come home whenever I want (even though that doesn't really matter because I don't have a curfew but I don't like coming home that late because a. I hate driving in the dark or when I'm tired and b. I don't like to keep my parents worrying and c. If my parents are sleeping when I come home, I always feel bad that I might wake them or my sister up when I have to open to garage door to park and get into the house or if I left something in their room or bathroom and have to go into their room when I get home and I don't want to wake them from their beauty sleep) but yea, I'm really cool and I just came home at like 10:30 after the play on Friday because Bee and I were exhausted. Okay, so now it's Saturday and here is where we encounter our problem- we need to do laundry! What's the problem? Robin and I haven't really done laundry just on our own before. So we start by emptying all the hampers and making two piles, one that is for the darks, the other for the lights. We were doing so well, until we come to a baby pink shirt. Does it belong with the darks? Or should it be with the lights? Ahhhh, so we are all confused but we need to wash some of our clothes so I get my cell phone and one of the first people in my phonebook is Amanda so I call her knowing that she won't really be much help just because she is Amanda and all she would do is bust out laughing. So I was right about the laughing part, but she was a tad bit helpful and together, we decided that the baby pink stuff could probably go in the light pile and everything would be okay. So I caught up with Manders for a little bit and that was good. So Robin and I take the laundry baskets downstairs to start washing all of our clothes! So here's our next problem- we don't know how to work the washing machine! I can't really call Amanda back because she is in Eugene and there is no way that she is driving all the way up here to help us out and it's too hard to describe on the phone. So I call Shasha for help since she's over in the area because her SAT class is by my house. And since Caca is so kind and trustworthy, she stops by my house on her way home and helps us figure out how to work the machine and in return, I cook her some bomb lunch. So yay! My sister and I have two nice fresh loads of laundry and mommy and daddy are going to be so proud of us when they get back! :)
Okay, so if you read all of that, I hope it was an entertaining story! lol, but I wrote all of that because I thought I might want to remember it someday if I still have this dumb LJ 5 years from now.
But my mommy and daddy come home today and I'm super excited because I missed them LOTS!
