This just in...
pearlinthecity and I have an apartment! It's official! I started organizing my books (and boy do I have lots of them). I wrote my name in all of them and what class/semester I took it (if applicable). Then I sorted them into 3 piles: TC, children's books, leisure. Also cleaned my room. So I think the task this weekend will be to sort through the papers I have, which is much more difficult. Hopefully my boxes will come soon because right now things are just in piles. We're getting keys Tuesday and taking measurements (I drew up a floor plan). Then I'll finish packing and hopefully be all moved in by Friday so I can spend next week cleaning up my room here, making sure I have everything, and getting settled in the new place.
Ordered and got some professional clothes for the fall from New York & Co. Just gotta hem the pants (as usual).
Went to dance yesterday, am going tomorrow and Sunday. Hopefully my legs won't get more bruised up than they are from yesterday's class.
Got a copy of my brother's high school graduation announcement and some senior portraits today. I must say...I got a little teary-eyed. I can't believe he's graduating from high school. I'm so proud of him. Only one thing to be sad about...I wish I could be there with the family to support him. He knows I'll be with him in spirit and that I send my love.
