Alice was having one of those moments where everything felt absolutely perfect. She was well-fed, thanks to having fed earlier in the day. Her family was all there with her. And everything was going right for everybody.
God, she loved moments like these. They were rare, given her abilities -- she was almost always either picking something up from someone or dealing with the aftermath of having picked something up. But here they were, in a moment of everybody in the Cullen family sprawled around the spacious living room in varying states of entertaining themselves, and she hadn't even seen it coming.
She loved when that happened. As long as it was something good, that was. Because Fandom had thrown things at her out of nowhere that she hadn't seen coming, and she'd hated those. But this? Was very much the good kind of out of nowhere.
She smiled contently and leaned against Jasper, idly reaching to check her phone.
