academic reading
I have never had any taste for the academic reading, so I have not passed the exemption test of extensive reading. The offered reading material is about poverty, where the author has listed a lot of issues concerned with the global problem. As an academic essay, it is lengthy and boring. Since I have not been admitted to be exempted from the class, continuing to read the material is my work. On top of that, I was expected to do a presentation to analyze the theme, content and organizational structures, which is challenging. At first, I felt at a loss, because it seemed that I was in the dark when doing the reading. However, everything went so magically. Now, writing the journal, I have finished the reading analyzing work, and grasped what it is going to tell us. Although not having a thorough command of the deep significance, I at least step out on my academic reading, which is to my comfort, and inspiring.
As long as you have started to step out, everything is on the simple course. I believe my extensive reading will be so promising.
