I'm at college, updating from my MAC computer, which is so easy to navigate. It's actually much easier to navigate then I thought it would be. And now I'm in love with it. I actually had an argument with Erik over whether or not this baby could run Worlds....I was arguing that it could. HAH. That was an ironic conversation.
I moved in on Friday, and went to Alton Jones for two days for 48 hours of ice breaking and getting to know people. It was awesome, the people were good and there was lots of milk. I met some really awesome people in the process. I can back on Sunday and met my roomate, Amy. If anyhone's seen 'The Butterfly Effect' where Ashton Kutcher shares a room with a goth, making the dorm black and red on one side and normal on the other.....you would know what my room looks like. But it's cool. Amy's great, one of the first thing she said to me was tghat she was glad I was cool. Based on Amy's personality, things wouldn't be pretty if she were paired with a more, shall we say materialistic young lady. Limbs would fly.
So Sunday was first night. Did what I had to do but then Sam and I thought we'd let Amy experience the best of South County by taking her to Applebee's......Crfazy Burger was closed.
Monday we hung out in Alex's dorm, setting stuff up with Steve, Dylan, Xandra, Meghan, and Will. We also just walked around the school seeing people we knew.
And on that note, I LOVE URI. Everyone is here, it's completely amazing. You see people from all different parts of your life, and now you're all together.
Tuesday I slept till 11:30 for the first time in a year. Had a late breakfast, and then went to Providence Place with Kayla, Amy, Xandra, La Salle Billy, Mary (Kayla's dope roomate), Stephanie and Courtney. Spent about one hundred dollars, including an urban outfitters chair that I had to carry alllllll the way down Thayer Street. Went to Bedlam and found out the owner really isn't such an asshole. And then I went to ragtime and realized how much I loved that store. I also got pants, underwear, two more power outlets, a mushi pillow (finallement!) and some hangers. I came home to go out in da vibe for a drive....goood drive and good music. Realized I really missed Erik. Realized I'm going to miss Steve. And realized I love my school.
