Just saw Ted, and must say, laughed my arse off. I was afraid it was going to be so full of boy humour that I'd be grossed out and wouldn't enjoy it, but save for one bit, it was Alice-tolerable. There was one bit involving Teddy/boy violence that made me laugh so much, so loud, I was in danger of being tossed from the theater. Cute, but then how can a 3 ft talking teddy not be cute?
The horror of going to the cinema is sitting through the coming attractions. Must have shown preview of ten movies if not more and 9 out of ten of them were violent. There was a sci-fi that was a violent, but loving sci-fi I gave it a pass. But the scariest previews were for violence that wasn't sci-fi or Hogwarts it was just too close to home for me. What a wuss am I.
