I stole this from someone, but I don't know who. So thanks, someone!

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Lived in an apartment.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make resolutions because I don't ever mean them when I do.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My friend's older sister did, but she and I aren't close.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Fortunately not.

5. What countries did you visit?
I turned 19 and didn't even venture into Canada!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
LEARN TO FUCKING DRIVE. Get a job. Learn to be self-sufficient.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None in particular, unless you count election day. Oh, what am I talking about - June 7th! That's when my brother got married.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being a fatty loser.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I discovered the caramel macchiato this year.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
MINE. BWAHAHAH.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A few people here and there, but nothing too major.

14. Where did most of your money go?
fFar, far away from me :(

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
...Christmas!

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
I don't know - I don't really remember songs by date. Barack Obama, he loves your mama?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Ugh.
ii. thinner or fatter? UGH.
iii. richer or poorer? UUUGGGHHHHH.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Being proactive about life instead of just sitting on my ever-expanding ass and complaining. I should have been nicer, exercised more, less shitty.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Shittiness.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
With my parents (sans newly Floridian brother and sister in law), at home, trapped in the house with three feet of snow outside.

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
With Daria...

23. How many one-night stands?
Man, I didn't even have any half-night stands.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
The Office, Bones, Pushing Daisies. Daria! Even though it stopped airing in like 2001.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't think so, no.

26. What was the best book you read?
OH SHIT, I dunno. Too many.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Re-discovery of Modest Mouse, which I've been blathering on about for months...

28. What did you want and get?
New mp3 player! And to pass my math class, which I just barely did.

29. What did you want and not get?
A driver's license. Money. Sense. A life.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Would it be bad to try and choose between Zack and Miri and The Dark Knight?

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 19, and...you know what, I don't even remember.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not being a shithead the whole year.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
I dress like an asshole and specifically make sure not to ask if something makes me look fat.

34. What kept you sane?
Honestly, it was the beauty of Washington State.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Oh, dear. I fantasy-lived somewhere between Daniel Craig and Christian Bale.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Prop 8

37. Who did you miss?
My brotttther. Which is funny because I hated him until he moved out when I was thirteen.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Kelsea

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
If you fuck up, it's alright, but you don't have forever.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Alright, I know you're all probably sick of me talking about how much I love Modest Mouse, but suck it. There are three, two from them and one from Warren Zevon.

1. "We have one chance.
One chance to get everything right.
We have one chance, one chance.
And if we're lucky we might."
-Modest Mouse, One Chance

2. "We've listened to more of life's end gong than the sound of life's sweet bells
Was it ever worth it, was there all that much to gain
Well we knew we'd missed the boat and we'd already missed the plane."
-Modest Mouse, Missed the Boat

3. "I'm lucky to be here with someone I like, who maketh my spirit to shine."
-Warren Zevon, Don't Let Us Get Sick
