Hm.
I don't know what kind of president Obama is going to be; he might be all he's supposed to, or he might fail miserably. Regardless, for the time being, I think we can all appreciate that Obama--and not so much the man himself, but what he represents--has injected hope into what was very nearly a colossal dead beast. He might not be the answer for the long term, and he might not be able to accomplish all that this country requires, but there is always the possibility that he could. And that, my friends, that small, new thing, the possibility of a different America, makes me proud to have lived this.
