Thyra: Transmutation.

The Book of the Law had has had specific proscriptions about it. Any man found without work on the streets of Shadowforge, was given work. The great army always needed more bodies to protect us from outsiders, from the orcs of the Spire. Our forges ran night and day, and needed someone to stoke them. Even the stupidest, clumsiest, drunkest dwarf could be put to use this way.

The Senator liked to make a grand display of showing off his districts and holdings. How clean and safe we were, always. How industrious.Toiling to glorify the Great Fire made idleness a sin.

The Bronzebeards understand something close, but not quite the same.

Through that silly little magic book, I've made contact with some homeless Gilnean begging for copper in Stormwind. Humans sound more permissive of this sort of thing. And why not? I understand their Light tells them to show compassion. My Light teaches something else.

From what I've learned of tallfolk, I understand that Gilneas is (was) a proud nation. This one's not too proud to beg in the street, but certainly to have a fuss made about it.

Perhaps we can work on this.
