louise and alice in auckland.....
Louise took me to a crazy basement Japanese arcade in Auckland that I probably couldn't find again if I had to...it had about 15 different photo booths, the instructions were all in Japanese....
on Queen Street, there is this huge scary santa advertising the Christmas parade...its eye winks, and its finger beckons you toward it...AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
I left Taupaki way early this morning...and am now in Paihia, a little beach community up in the Northland...tomorrow I'm going up to Cape Reinga, the nothern most point of the North Island...so more about that later...hopefully illustrated...I've taken a bus, and so have met a ton of people...having to be a little more outgoing than usual...it's good for me, except I think I'm dehydrated from talking so much. I'm SO happy to be at the BEACH...woohoo.
But a last note...sunset at Muriwai Beach...
