So happy you liked it and that it made your bad day better! Literary porn tends to do that.
Glad you liked all the character development and the nods to our Epic Post of Epicness.
And Finn is absolutely right on his thoughts about Romeo and Juliet. When I said the same thing in my English class my teacher told me, and I'm not making this up, "You are way too young to be so cynical. Keep thinking like that and I bet you end up dying cold and alone someday."
Of course I ended up telling him that life isn't a rollar coaster ride and there's no sign saying 'you must be this tall to realize that sometimes life fucking sucks' and I may have possibly inquired if he was just bitter about his wife leaving him...
And now you know one of the many, many reasons my nickname was Daria in high school.
Was that O'Hara poem not the most absolutely perfect Finn/Will poem of all time? Man, when I found it I had the biggest grin on my face because it just summed up every aspect of their 'I love you best and I want to share everything with you and all of my vast life experience doesn't mean anything because you weren't with me for it and I love that I get to say all this stuff to you' relationship.
I imagine Finn wearing an orange shirt one day to school and Will just knowing it's for him.

This is going to be my new Happy Fic. Everytime something goes uber wrong I'm going to read it to make me feel better. (And then there's finals week.)
The Epic Post of Epicness, I think we intimidated people with it. Keep your eyes peeled for next week! I'm always up for character development. I tend to like books with heaps of it over a lot of actions sequences.
Hahaha I thought the same thing in my English class. But my teacher made up for the fact by showing the greatest bad version of ever, the one with the modern times and Mercutio in drag? Epiiiic. Also there's a pretty decent musical version of it, which literally is like if Lady Gaga decided to Romeo and Juliet. The costumes are just that out there. And then there's a Death personification on stage. Seriously that's how I wanted Romeo and Juliet to go (because there's plot development that doesn't make Romeo look like a whiny flirtatious ass). But seriously if I have to choose my favorite Shakespearean drama it's totally going to be "A Midsummer Night's Dream" hands down.
And I just love you a little more for that story. I'm dressing up as Daria for Halloween, with some alterations because I haven't had enough time to get a proper costume. But the idea is there.
It's like that time in my Art History class senior year of high school. I'm sitting there and my teacher thought she put up the picture on the monitor. So she asked use what it was when it's a blue screen. Being the awesome person I am, I raised my hand and said.
"I've done this test before! It's a herd of beautiful, wild ponies running free across the plain."
My teacher literally fell over from laughter while everyone stared at me. Kids today. They don't know good TV even if it bit them on the ass.
That was literally THE PERFECT POEM for them. I also really enjoyed it too. It was just so sweet and I loved it to bits and pieces. And I can see Finn totally wearing an orange shirt for Will because he's sweet like that.
(On a side note: Mister Cellophane from Chicago. Perfect song for Will?)
