I was sooo jonesing for a winnners fic! In fact the last few days I have entertained myself with re-reading your previous series (where it goes from them meeting in a hypo--, fake bar (as Finn puts it)to Finn becoming an awesome social worker).

I really like that Finn "can" be smart, he just wasn't motivated before. I like that he was honest with Will ("I've wanted to do this for a long time but was afraid I would suck at it" sorry for the pun)and how obviously, Will was just waiting for this moment of permission. Because suddenly they are naked together for the first time AND in Will's bed. That makes me very happy.

It is interesting to me that Will knew Finn had found the gay poetry book and suspected that was why Finn left so abruptly that night, but never said anything to him about it. In some ways, I expect Will to want to talk things out. But he probably didn't want to bring it up because of pressuring Finn or embarrassing him or even, chasing him away.

Regardless, thanks for finally giving me The Blow Job. And I am sorry for cursing at you when I got to the end of Part One. (oops, then I realized you had a Part Two already posted.)

I always appreciate your Winnn stories.

Thanks for the wonderful long comment and I am soooooo sorry it took so long to reply!

Real life kind of decided to be a butthole there for awhile!

Thrilled the characterization of Finn as more intellectually incurious as opposed to dumb worked for you. I kind of fell in love with that idea and I was worried that it might seem out of character.

As to Will, I think it was a case of he picked up on the fact that Finn freaked and then when Finn came back and nothing really changed between them he assumed that Finn just needed time and a little space to think and he gave it to him.

Same with him taking Finn to bed. He wasn't going to push the issue because he didn't want to rock the boat, but the second Finn made it clear he was ready, Will would most defintely be enthusiastic.
