Brittany’s also out of money, but she promises that on all the tickets she wrote Mr. Schue’s name on, she made sure to spell it wrong.
That is just so sweet and so very Brittney. Also, I'm pretty sure she'd be one of those people who keep forgetting that Schuester has a 'c' in there.
“Now, am I writing Mrs. Finn Schuester here, or did you decide to keep your maiden name?”
Puck, I love you. That whole scene was just manfully sweet.
Finn has to bite his tongue to keep from blurting out “Wow, you picked up on that too?” because he’s not supposed to have gaydar.
Hahaha to everything in this line.
And Mr Schue taking the pie for Emma? Of course he would. And when I read her name I pretty much went "Oh noes! Not Emma!", and I was glad to see that echoed in the Gleeks.
And then the whole bathroom scene was adorable and awkward and yes, just yes. Because of course Mr Schue would have the sense to be all "This is great, but OH DEAR GOD this is the wrong time and place for it, and also I'm probably going to get screwed over somehow, so Imma just go, kk?" And Finn's train of thought through it all was just... I want to say 'lovely', but I know that's the wrong word. The way he knows he'll step aside if this isn't what Will wants, the way he freaks a little at the meaning of the kiss being put in his hands. Some wonderful Finn stuff there.

The discussion about how so many of Finn's relationships is just him passively going with the flow, it's why I made a major point in it all being Finn's decisions and Finn actively choosing to put himself out there and define it all. I mean, yes part of it was a case of Will feeling so guilty and mixed up in wanting Finn that I think there's no way he'd be able to in good conscience make the first move and not feel like he's taking advantage.
But there's a very large aspect that sees Finn having the guts to take the triple dog dare as an essential step for him.
In less navel gazing news--glad you enjoyed those lines and oh my god, how much did I LOVE writing the Puck cameo? Let me count the ways...such a douchey silly teenage boy, but he's so sweet. And trust teenage boys to be able to have a big meaningful coming out moment without even saying the actual words and needing to punch each other in the arm immediately afterwards.
