I just got the call from Magic Mouse Toys, and I'll be starting there on July 16th.
It will be a full-time position, doing whatever it is they want me to do (because I know that's what retail needs most). The initial schedule will be Mon - Wed, Fri, Sat, and I am really REALLY looking forward to this.
And Amy, she specifically mentioned how the arrival of my Thank You card prompted her to pick up the phone and call. Apparently they had indeed been impressed enough at the interview to decide then and there to hire me, but wanted to talk it over, and then something came up, and then another thing came up, and more days yet may have passed before the she found the time to call back. So - funny thank you cards for the win.
