I just waiting in line for 10 hours, outside in the freezing cold.
And it was totally worth it

Oh, and this:

.
That last shot, you might notice, contains a little more than Nintendo products. Some people from Microsoft (specifically,
www.on10.net) showed up in the last hour of the line up, doing a little promo shit. Mike's friend Tom won the trivia (What was the highest grossing Nintendo game? A: Super Mario Bros.), and for the 360, the did the normal "What Would You Do?". Brian, being well aware of his best friend's utter lack of shame, ran back to our spot to alert Mike. As usually happens, the hostess asked what we (the audience) would do for the XBox. Mike and another guy responded with "Anything", and since that response draws pretty much only a demand to strip, Mike readied himself, hand on jacket zipper. To Mike's benefit, he had dressed so quickly this afternoon (there was already a line and we didn't want to be any further back) that he had not put on a shirt. Needless to say, he beat the other guy to the boxers. Especially seeing as how the other guy hesitated.
They were video taping it. It may be up on on10.net very soon.
Seriously, so fricking awesome. We now have two out of the three next-gen consoles, and we didn't even have to pay for the more expensive one.
Oh, and to top the whole thing off, the XBox is the expensive one. No pussy-ass core system for us.
Hell yes.
Also, major happy birthday to my Cheshire Cat, my rock in a storm, my very best friend
brit_brat100.
Love you all,
Sandra
