Alice seeks to find a life after Underland, and sets off to explore the Orient, meaning to be the first allowed to trade with China; all the while, plagued by incidental little things that shouldn't be such a bother... Meanwhile, Underland has new problems, now that the Red Queen's tyranny is over. They need their Champion once more, but will even Alice be able to sort out the tangled web of intrigue, past and present, that permeates the Houses of Cards?
