...And the Moon Rises (Mediocre)

Jan 08, 2007 09:55

I'm supposed to be in school right now, but I had an appointment at the post office to get my passport and I have an interview for college in a bit, so I only had to go to VHS this morning. I'm missing calc for the second time in three days, which is screwing me pretty badly, but whatever.

It's raining here. I don't think I can ever remember it raining in January. But I suppose I'm not surprised; it was 71 degrees last Saturday, and it's been no lower than 45 all week. I went outside at midnight a few days ago, while it was raining, in shorts and a t-shirt (my pajamas) and I wasn't even cold. I was actually quite comfortable. Saturday night I laid outside and looked at the stars for probably a half hour in a short sleeve shirt and wasn't even cold. About a week ago, I went outside and watched the sun set on my front lawn in a t-shirt and only my fingers got a little cold.

All in all, it's been a weird, but completely pleasant, January. You can't tell me we're not screwing up our planet with global warming and all of that shit, though.
