I bought the GoF DVD on Thursday and have already watched it four times. And I want to watch it again. What is that, honestly?
I knew that it was probably my fav out of the four once I saw it in theatres, but then I went out and bought it and haven't stopped watching it since. I'm picking up on the little bits and pieces now that I didn't notice before, and they make it so much better. Neville (god help me if I know the actor's name) did so awesome in this movie, especially in the Unforgivable scene. So, so amazing. And Dan, oh my god, Dan once he gets back from the graveyard. Guh. I know there were other bits, but I can't think of them now. I might just have to go watch it again...
So I was reminiscing about
hp100 the other day, and I'd have to say that I miss the days when I was excited to get up on Sunday and check the week's winner because Hufflepuff was having their insane, 17-or-something-week winning spree. I do miss the competitiveness over there. Not to say there isn't any now, it's just not as crazy.
I've been writing a lot lately, just not stuff for challenges, so I might be posting more this week on my actual journal. (Imagine that). I wrote this poem here sometime in school, in A+P I think, and it's actually not in Potterverse (!) but I thought I'd post it anyway.
Title: Dreamland
Word Count: 92
Characters/Pairings: Original, but if you read into it a lot, it can so be H/D.
Have you ever wondered why
your world is black and white
Why mornings come and go
without a sunrise
Why night falls at the end of each day
dusk obscured by regret and smog
Have you ever noticed the brick walls
around your imagination
Your body's restraints of Italian-made suits
The crude banter of those around you
The jagged spires of magazine pictures
luring you to alleged paradise
Have you ever wondered why
your world is black and white
Have you ever notice how
my eyes could upset the balance
so beautifully
