Movie Review, and a Bit of RL
Okay, so I rented and watched "Alexander" last night, and not only was it a pretty good movie, there was SO much boy-kissing. My mom, who was watching it with me even though she says she hates war/battle/ancient history-type movies, even made a comment on how much there was. Jared Leto in this movie has got to be one of the best-looking people I've seen. It was a long freakin' movie though, let me tell ya, but I liked it quite a bit. I'd love to see a history spork on it, even though from what I gather from reviews it's more historically accurate than most movies of the type. But the accents did kill me, I must say.
So overall, school is going well. I have so much homework in my English class and we have a test on colonial lit this Tuesday. Spanish is okay, even though I suck at the language. I think my mom is actually considering letting me go on the trip to Spain. It would be so cool. We get to spend three days at host families then the last two at hotels. I really hope I can go; it would be so much fun.
We have yet to win a hockey game, and we lost um, 6-0 against Frontier (okay, so it wasn't that much of a surprise) but we've had two ties and that gives us two points for tournament (0 for losses, 1 for ties, 2 for wins). I don't know what we'll do if we don't make it--I don't think that's ever happened before. So we only need, uh let's see, 16 more points.
Well, I still have homework to do, and I really should do it before the computer freezes, but I just wanted to update and say hi!
