Time
Had every intention of writing DGM ot4 fic for springkink, but then I got completely distracted by trying to figure out the goddamn chronology of this goddamn manga. I mean I have spent the last two hours pouring over the wiki trying to figure this shit out.
Why do none of the characters have ages or dates of birth? Why is always just 'some time ago' or 'some years before' or 'at one time' etc etc. HOSHINO, YOU ARE DELIBERATELY TRYING TO DRIVE US INSANE, I KNOW YOU ARE.
Has anyone put together a coherent timeline yet? Because I've got pages of fucking notes here, and I feel like I should put them to some use. Unfortunately, most of the LJ communities are dead, and it's not like one can actually search for things on Tumblr, or like, use Tumblr in anything close to a functional way, so I think I'm shit out of luck finding anything.
Jfc. I guess I'll just make shit up for this fic, now that I've wasted most of my productive writing time looking up this non-existent info. I just want to know what exactly happened 35 years ago; I want to know when Cross joined the Order and how old he was; I want to know if he fought with Nea and Mana or just knew them; I want to know who Bookman's apprentice was (although I'm guessing we don't know this because it's going to be important?) But all of this boils down to the question of DOES IT MAKE SENSE THAT CROSS WAS THAT APPRENTICE??? Fuck, that's really all I want to know here.
