In Which I Need a Life
Oh my god, you guys. So I'm herp derping along with my Icelandic course, and right now it's still just basic survival stuff, so you get those few people you follow around all day, you know?
Well, my two main people are Ewa and Daniel, and Ewa just got sick (so I could learn things like "medicine" and "cold" and "pharmacy" and whatnot) and now they're 'i heima' (at home) and Daniel just called her to ask how she was feeling. After he lets out an emphatic "GOOD" at her being okay now that she has lyf (drugs), he pauses and gets flustered and stumbles over his words and asks if he can visit her tonight.
...LIKE WHAT. She laughs and says that yes, he can, and then he cracks this lame joke about bringing vitamin C for her, they laugh some more and then hang up.
My immediate reaction, besides cackling like a lunatic? I SHIP THEM SO HARD. EWA/DANIEL ICELANDIC OTP, for realsies.
Sorry, was this not actually funny? It was totally funny in my head when I thought of making this post. I have a feeling that I will be the only one amused by this. NO REGRETS.
OMG UPDATE he just brought her flowers and it is so clear that she Does Not Like Him That Way. I am dying.
