Hi Everyone,
By now, the deadline to order the FC Limited Edition of the album has passed, but for anyone who was planning to order a physical copy of the regular edition of GRACE, consider placing an order for a personalized autographed copy!
They released the cover art for both editions recently: a black car is featured on the cover of the
FC Limited Edition and a green car is featured on that of the
regular edition. I think they're whimsical and dreamlike. I have to say, I really like how they feel a little oldschool, collage-like, and it reminds me a bit of their Kikagaku no Kotowari
tour aesthetic (though KnK's tone was much darker).

Notice the licence plates that have their bandiversary on them? And the pocket watch that reads 9:15?
There are tons of interesting little details on each cover, as well as commonalities that tie them together (the prismatic pyramids are intriguing). What are your impressions?
Also, Saga
tweeted a driver's licence photo not that long ago and I have to say... it doesn't surprise me at all that Saga ended up driving ALICE NINE. into a new dimension. Saga is just that good, folks! :D♥
Also, if you didn't catch it,
take a listen to a clip of Show and Saga at the studio doing a vocal recording for the album. Love that bit of behind-the-scenes magic!
Get GRACE Autographed by your Favourite Member
& Personalized With Your Name
Ordering a copy of GRACE regular edition through the Limista/Neokyo website (3300 JPY) will allow you to request a specific member to autograph the cover and personalize it with the name you specify and you will also be able to write them a short message of love, appreciation, support -- whatever you like, which they may read aloud.
This autograph signing session will take place on October 30th and be streamed live on Youtube from beginning to end (they're planning for about 3 hours), so you will be able to attend and comment in the live chat as well, with all other fans in attendance, if you wish. There will be no archive put up afterwards, so you will have to watch it live; it is not yet clear whether the autograph signing will be a public livestream, or whether links will be emailed to those who purchase a copy to be autographed.
If you were planning on buying a copy anyway, definitely look into this opportunity to get it signed and personalized as well!
You can find all the details on [

Alice 9-Lives / 9kumiParade
On the new
Alice 9-Lives website, you can find everything that I had put up on
ConfusedUniverse9, as well as some new content, and I'll be updating it with more nostalgia-inducing archive content as time permits. Currently, you can take a walk down memory lane with a
deep-dive into "namae wa, mada nai." including some new (super-old) scans, some translations, and a plethora of facts relating to the release and associated tours.
Through the discography, I'd like to explore each of their release "eras", with tracks, translations, booklets, and including tours, magazine and promotional appearances (in print, digital, and video), OHP designs... you name it. I'm starting slowly with the oldest eras, but when I eventually get to more recent content, there are things I will not put up. Like content that is still in print, FC or note content, anything that ALICE NINE. themselves already have available on their own website/socials, and so on. It's a bit of a balancing act, and I am experimenting with content and format as I go. Suggestions welcome!
Meanwhile, the
9kumiParade twitter account is now (actually) active.
I have started translating the members' tweets (if you don't want to follow the account but still want to see translations, check the original tweets' "quote retweets" and you'll see my translations appear there, usually within a day or less). I also post translations of magazine articles (etc) that catch my interest as time permits, and link to updates on this LJ as well as on the new website. Like the website, this is also an experiment in progress, and I welcome your input! You can comment/reply on one of the accounts, @ me, quote-retweet or send me a private message if you have information to share, or if you have something relevant for me to retweet (and so on).
I've put 4 quote translations up so far (the translation is in an image, in full), and I've linked to each tweet below:

Hope your weekend ends on a good note, everyone.
Til next time!
