What do you think about the new song they just released a few days ago? I enjoyed it but I kind of wish Shou would sing it different. Some of the parts make him sound... nasally constipated for a lack of a better term.

I actually really like After Dark.. but I just get so distracted by those parts (0:56-0:58, 1:45-1:47--some the timestamps from the video so you know what I am referencing to, haha.) I think he sounds fine throughout the songs.. But those parts are just so distracting for me. I partially blame my bestie because he's the one who pointed out that a lot of J-Rock singers have that style and would always do his (poor) impressions of it. XD
Each song seems to match the songwriter and their personalities quite well. I look forward to hearing what Nao brings to the table. I hate myself for saying this, but I would love to see another Castle of the Nine.. Just because. XD

Now that you mention it that way, I see what you mean about that in particular being a style of vocals that is prevalent in the vkei scene.
LOOOOOOOOOL
Please don't hate yourself for saying that... Castle of the Nine is awesome XD
Though EUREKA definitely isn't another Castle of the Nine. I really like it! I'm not sure exactly how to put it but something about it is just relaxing (maybe the soft tone of the sound), even though it feels like it has a lot of forward momentum.
This style of release has made for a really interesting year so far, and I am definitely enjoying how eclectic they are!
